Doodle-sheet flotsam can be found here! ...Probably.

For Wytwolf, who bought me this new tablet.
INITIAL THOUGHTS ON THE MONOPRICE: Fuck it’s confusing drivers, it took me a day to get it working. But apart from that, it’s quite nice! It’s SURPRISINGLY sensitive. Which is a good thing, I suppose, but I’m really not used to having to press down as hard, and I can’t seem to be able to adjust this sensitivity they way I’m used to, so i’ll just have to get accustomed. It’s somewhat more “realistic” than my wacom bamboo in that sense—I guess it’s more like drawing with paper and pencil.
I’ve only used it once so far, but I think it’s very good for the price. If you were thinking of purchasing a starter tablet and wacom’s too pricey for you, you can get a decently sized monoprice for pretty cheap! My old bamboo was small, had a 3.75X6 inch drawing space, and cost me $70 at the time I got it a few years back. You can get a fucking 10x6.25 monoprice tablet for $50. Sure you have to deal with the stupid drivers and the fact that the pen needs a battery, but it’s REALLY GOOD for the price. Go for it.
Vivi, something troubles you?
